As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has announced the "Digitalization Vouchers" call, targeting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The call provides funding to contribute to increasing the level of digital maturity of MSPs through the development of digital business models, strengthening capacities for digitalization and digital transformation through training and services to improve digital skills (including those related to cloud technologies), or enhancing cyber security.

A total of 9.95 million euros has been allocated for the call, with the maximum individual voucher amount ranging from 9,990.00 to 19,900.00 euros, depending on the type of voucher.

The call includes the allocation of five types of vouchers: for improving digital skills, digital marketing, developing a digital transformation strategy, diagnosing cyber resilience (cybersecurity), and complex digital solutions.

Eligible activities for funding within the call include implementing specialized informal learning programs focused on developing digital skills, creating websites, applications, and e-commerce platforms, managing social media, developing a digital transformation strategy, diagnosing cyber security, and developing and implementing complex digital solutions.

Eligible applicants are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises with at least 1-3 full-time employees in the previous month, depending on the type of voucher.

Only legal and natural persons registered in the Service Provider Catalog within the "Digitalization Vouchers" Call published on the Ministry's website are eligible service providers, based on the types of vouchers.

The call is conducted as an open procedure under the temporary call for project proposals, and three deadlines for submitting project proposals are scheduled.

The first application period is from June 1, 2023, to July 7, 2023.
