ZUM 4.0 combines several separate projects related to intelligent traffic solutions in the city of Zadar, which complement each other and use a common basic ICT infrastructure:

• A web portal and mobile application for smartphones (Zadar Smart City application and parkIN application) for access to unified services - information, public transport, parking, payment options for various services, etc.;
• A smart parking system - 1140 parking spaces covered by a smart parking system;
• An electronic payment system for public transport - 84 Liburnija buses equipped with an electronic payment system;
• A traffic and public transport information system - 16 bus stops and 30 buses equipped with "smart" screens for user information in public transport and 3 bus stops equipped with additional features such as large screens for passenger information, mobile device chargers, Wi-Fi, etc.;
• A Central Information System (CIS) - a central system for monitoring and managing other project elements.
